AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown will plan for next season over the course of the Dons' final three League Two games.

However, Brown is also determined to end the current campaign on a high after they ensured their survival with last week's 1-1 draw at Crawley.

Ahead of taking on promotion-chasing Torquay on Saturday, Brown said: "It is a bit of a dilemma with the games we have coming up.

"We don't want to put heavily weakened sides out against those three teams as they will provide three of our hardest games of the season. It is my job to make sure the players don't switch off now that we are safe.

"Some of the players on the periphery who are playing for contracts I'd like to give run-outs to. I'd like to look at other players, but it is proving more difficult than I envisaged because we do not want to end the season with a run of defeats.

"I am not saying because we are playing the youngsters that would definitely happen, it is for them to prove otherwise if they play."
