Frustrated Aldershot stopper Ross Worner hopes their clash against Accrington will kickstart a turnaround in fortunes this season.

Shots, with just two wins to their name since early November, have slipped down to 17th in npower League Two and collected just one point from the last 15 on offer.

Worner told the club's official website: "Performance-wise versus Cheltenham was better (in a 2-0 defeat last weekend). We created chances, dominated most of the game but we just cannot put the ball in the net.

"We need to get that win in the bag to build up confidence and morale and Saturday would be a chance to start pushing ourselves forward again.

"I am as frustrated as the fans are at the moment because we just can't get that win. I wanted to thank them on Saturday for travelling to Cheltenham. It was a bit of a trip for them and they are great supporters.

"We will keep believing and training right. I am going out there on Saturday to keep a clean sheet and if we can get that goal then we will win the game."
