Aldershot saw their faint play-off hopes all but ended by the 1-1 draw with Dagenham, much to the frustration of assistant manager Matt Bishop.
Scott Doe gave Dagenham the lead on the hour mark but Troy Brown headed home a late equaliser for the Shots.
Bishop said: "It is a frustrating result because we could have got more out of the game, but we were satisfied with the way they came back at the end.
"We have performed well and not come away with the win, which we have done a few times recently, so it's about being patient and not worrying about things too much I think.
"We created enough chances so to not come away with anything would have been a massive disappointment.
"We've hit a bit of a rough patch at the moment. I think we just need to keep believing and a result will come for us."
