Lawrie Sanchez felt Barnet's performance in their 3-0 win over in-form Accrington was their most professional of the season.
Stanley were on a 10-game unbeaten run in the league but the Bees boosted their survival bid with a comfortable three points at the Crown Ground.
They did not even need League Two's top scorer Izale McLeod to get on the scoresheet as goals from Ricky Holmes, Mark Hughes and Sam Deering sealed a welcome win.
"We have had some good performances this season but this was our most professional so far," Sanchez said.
"I went to see Accrington beat Burton last week and they were phenomenal, but we controlled the game from beginning to end and it could have been four or five.
"You cannot always rely on a striker who has got more than 60 per cent of our goals so far this season so it's good that other players were on the scoresheet."
