David Ngog insists he has no problem with playing as a lone striker under Bolton boss Owen Coyle, insisting he just wants to help the team.
The 22-year-old has been ploughing a lone furrow up front for Wanderers, but still managed to get on the scoresheet in the 2-0 FA Cup win at Millwall last weekend.
Next up is a tough task against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League, but Ngog is unfazed.
"When you are on your own as a striker, you have a job to do for the team," he told the Bolton Evening News. "I'm delighted to do that and I try to work hard.
"Whether the role suits me is not for me to decide. As soon as I'm on the pitch, it suits me. I don't question this."
