Bournemouth have completed the signing of Torquay midfielder Eunan O'Kane on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old former Everton trainee joins the Cherries after two seasons at Plainmoor to become Paul Groves' fifth addition of the summer.

"Eunan has a lot of energy and is very good technically," the Cherries boss told the club's official website. "He'll definitely give us something different.

"He comes here having played over 200 games for Torquay where he produced on a regular basis. He's had a good background and has managed to climb his way back up after leaving Everton.

"He's clearly looking to progress with us and he's ambitious - that's what we want at this club.

"We have been aware of him for quite some time and consistently he's been one of the best midfielders in League Two and we're delighted to have him here."
