Bradford midfielder Ricky Ravenhill cannot wait for his side's first-round Capital One Cup clash against former club Notts County.

The two sides meet at Meadow Lane during the week commencing August 13 and Ravenhill, who moved to Bradford on a free transfer from County in January after an initial loan spell at Valley Parade, is excited at the prospect.

Ravenhill, who won the League Two title with the Magpies during a three-year spell at Meadow Lane, told Bradford's official website: "Going to a club where I have such good memories of will make sure it will be special start to the season for me.

"Looking at our options in the draw, there was probably not many better ways for us to start the season from my point of view. It's a great draw for me personally and gives us a good game to look forward to first up.

"After putting in all the hard-work of pre-season, there's nothing better than starting the game with an exciting match straight up.

"I enjoyed three unbelievable years there and the fans were brilliant to me, but I'll be going all out to get us the victory on the night."
