Simon Moore wants to establish himself as Brentford's number one goalkeeper next season ahead of Richard Lee.

The 21-year-old has made 11 appearances for the Bees this term, but has spent most of the campaign playing second fiddle.

Moore has featured in their last two fixtures after Lee sustained a shoulder injury and will continue between the posts against Chesterfield this weekend but he is already looking towards next season.

"It's been a good season for me. I'm going to work as hard as I can during the summer and I want to be playing first-team football next year," he told the Ealing Gazette.

"Obviously, Rich is a brilliant keeper and he's helped me an awful lot along with Roycey [Simon Royce], but I want to establish myself as number one.

"If we can keep this squad together we will definitely be pushing to get out of this league and into the Championship."
