Bridcutt to remain on sidelines for Leeds

Leeds United midfielder Liam Bridcutt looks set to miss out on Saturday’s visit of Norwich City due to an injury problem.

The 27-year-old sat out the weekend defeat to Burton as a result of a sore Achilles but the problem has not settled down enough for him to be considered on Saturday.

The news will not come as welcoming news for the West Yorkshire outfit as they still have slim hopes of a play-off spot.

Centre-back Liam Cooper also serves the final match of his six-game suspension.

Winger Hadi Sacko is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up as head coach Garry Monk selects from the same squad he had at Burton.

Norwich will have Swiss defender Timm Klose available again following a knee injury.

Midfielders Wes Hoolahan (hip) and Alex Tettey (back) have both been ruled out.

Goalkeeper Michael McGovern has been given some time away on compassionate leave.

Winger Matt Jarvis (knee) continues his rehabilitation while midfielder Louis Thompson is out for the season following Achilles surgery.
