Defender Danny Woodards is on the verge of signing a one-year contract extension at Bristol Rovers.
The 28-year-old defender, Rovers' player of the year, is expected to sit down with chairman Nick Higgs in the coming days to put pen to paper.
"We're delighted that Danny is set to sign his contract extension with us as he's a key player for Bristol Rovers," Higgs told the club's official website.
"He was fantastic for us last season and we hope that he can pick up where he left off."
