Boss Sean Dyche was disappointed to see his unbeaten Burnley start come to an abrupt end in a 2-1 defeat at Ipswich Town.

DJ Campbell's late winner earned the home side a 2-1 victory, after Daryl Murphy's opener was cancelled out by Sam Vokes.

Dyche said: "It was nip and tuck throughout but, on reflection, I thought we deserved at least a share of the spoils. It was always going to be difficult.

"Ipswich were looking for a reaction and we were coming to a place where they were desperate for a win. But overall I thought our players put in another really strong, physical shift.

"There was some very good play from us so there were lots of positives. We were too open before - we're tighter now and moving the ball around nicely. We were close to making some good chances but didn't make enough of them.

"Overall, it's still been a positive week, with lots of food for thought for how we develop further."

Dyche was disappointed though with Ipswich's first goal, feeling Murphy fouled keeper Lee Grant.

"It changed the feel of the game," he said. "Ipswich suddenly believed but I thought our players reacted really well to the setback and were able to force an equaliser."
