New Burton boss Gary Rowett has announced the appointment of Paul Molesworth to his backroom staff.
Molesworth will take up the position of head scout having had previous spells with Liverpool, Swansea and most recently League Two champions Swindon.
Rowett will work with Molesworth to draw up a list of targets ahead of next season as well as setting up a new scouting network.
"Paul is someone who is very well connected and I was keen to bring him to the club as soon as I knew I had got the (manager's) job," Rowett told the Burton Mail.
"Paul has excellent contacts, including managers and players, and his knowledge is going to be invaluable in terms of the recruitment process this summer.
"He's got massive experience with clubs like Swindon and Bristol Rovers, so he knows our division inside out."
