Richie Barker could not hide his disappointment over several refereeing decisions as Bury were beaten 3-0 by Sheffield United.

Blades striker Ched Evans, the subject of transfer talk in recent weeks, grabbed his 18th goal of the season at Gigg Lane. Forward partner Richard Cresswell and midfielder Lee Williamson were also on target.

Barker, who felt Evans' opener was clearly offside, said: "It was hard enough without poor decisions with officials.

"Danny [Wilson] told me their first goal was offside and Danny's got no reason to lie. We both had the same opinion.

"The first goal was always going to be important because we were looking to continue our momentum. I'm all for human error because people make mistakes, but if it comes from not being able to keep up with play then we've got an issue."

Barker added: "There's probably at least one player in their team that earns as much as my entire squad. If anybody needed any clarification of how difficult it is, then there it is."
