Bury midfielder Mark Carrington has signed a new contract to play for the League One club for the next 12 months.
Warrington-born Carrington joined the Shakers on a short-term non-contract deal in September last year and has since made 20 appearances for the League One club.
The attacking midfielder scored in stoppage time to help his side secure a vital 4-2 win against play-off chasing Notts County recently.
The 24-year-old told Bury's official website: "I will be a Bury player next season.
"A decision was going to be made in March, but obviously with the club not knowing where it would be next season, it wasn't made straightaway.
"But I've signed a contract for next season and I will be here next year."
