Defender Andrai Jones has signed a two-year contract at Bury after putting in some good performances for the League One club last season.
Jones was one of four scholars who was offered professional terms at the end of the 2009/10 season after successfully coming through the youth system at Gigg Lane.
The 20-year-old right-back played just eight minutes of football during his first season at the club but the last campaign proved much better as he made another nine appearances.
Shakers boss Richie Barker said: "Obviously I am delighted that Andrai has tied himself to the club for another two years. It's never really been an issue with him regarding him and his contract offer.
"The new season promises to be a big season for Andrai and players like him. Now it's time for him to fulfil his potential that we has shown during last season and step forward."
