FA Cup - Goal of the Round
Did you miss any of the weekend's FA Cup goals? Fear not, as the competition's official YouTube channel has all the action for you. Perhaps the most impressive performance came from cash-strapped Hereford as they beat local rivals Shrewsbury 3-1 at Edgar Street on Saturday - Ryan Bowman's 25-yard screamer (55s) is worth looking out for in particular.
Bowman's strike features among the FA's Goal of the Round compilation. Here's the full list - see them all in the video below:
A. Luke Murphy (CREWE v Wycombe)
B. Ryan Bowman (HEREFORD v Shrewsbury)
C. Tony Diagne (Swindon v MACCLESFIELD)
D. James Norwood (FOREST GREEN ROVERS v Port Vale)
E. Richard Marshall (Doncaster v BRADFORD PARK AVENUE)
F. Jamie Taylor (LINCOLN CITY v Walsall)
G. James Dunne (Rotherham v STEVENAGE)
H. James Berrett (CARLISLE UNITED v Ebbsfleet)
I. Nick Blackman (Bristol Rovers v SHEFFIELD UNITED)
J. Dean Cracknell (Aldershot Town v HENDON)
Lucas lashes in a beauty for Lviv
To Ukraine! And a sumptuous Paul Scholes-esque strike from Spanish midfielder Lucas, formerly of Rayo Vallecano, for Karpaty Lviv. They've been struggling in the Ukrainian Premier League this season, but a 6-0 home hammering of Kyrvbas will have lifted spirits. Lucas hit a hat-trick in the match but this was clearly the pick of the bunch.
Sensational Maresca strike for Samp, Inter end Juve's run
West Brom fans will remember Enzo Maresca fondly from his two-year spell at The Hawthorns in the late 1990s. He's now back in his homeland again with Sampdoria, and was on target at home to Atalanta on Sunday with a brilliant bicycle kick. However, Samp lost the match 2-1 and are languishing in 16th in Serie A.
The main event in Italy at the weekend was Inter Milan's 3-1 victory at Juventus, which ended the Old Lady's 49-match unbeaten run in the league. All the goals here...
Brilliant Bayern batter Hamburg
Bayern Munich were at their very best as they romped to a 3-0 victory at Hamburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday evening - they now lead Schalke by seven points at the top of the table. Goals from Schweinsteiger, Muller and Kroos below...
Saint-Etienne stun PSG as Zlatan sees red
In Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain remain top but only on goal difference from Marseille. That's because PSG suffered a shock 2-1 home defeat by Saint-Etienne on Saturday night, with kung-fu master Zlatan Ibrahimovic sent off for this wild challenge on goalkeeper Stephane Ruffier.
Three And In - Championship
No League One or League Two action at the weekend due to the FA Cup, so here's the three best goals from the Championship (in my humble opinion). Don't forget you can watch all the Football League goals over at SkySports.com, with the clips live on the website from Sunday night.
Emmanuel Ledesma's lush lob, Charlton 1 MIDDLESBROUGH 4 (1m 8s)
Ross Barkley's emphatic early second-half strike, SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY 2 Peterborough 1 (18s)
Liam Trotter's composed finish, Nottingham Forest 1 MILLWALL 4 (18s)
Dynamite from Dynamo's Moffat
Why isn't Adam Moffat in the Scotland squad? OK, the 26-year-old former Ross County and Elgin City midfielder might not be well known over here, but he's a star for Houston Dynamo and has a reputation for scoring long-range goals in the MLS. He was at it again on Sunday with this beauty in the 2-0 play-off first-leg victory at home to Sporting Kansas City (40s).
Very nice from Varela for Porto
Porto are level with Benfica at the top of Portugal's Primeira Liga. Vitor Pereira's side won 5-0 at home to Maritimo on Friday night, with Silvestre Varela netting this excellent goal.
SPL Goal Rush
St Mirren's Kenny McLean (15s) and Kilmarnock's Liam Kelly (2m) were the stand-out scorers in the Scottish Premier League at the weekend with peachy strikes. Also, check out the skill of Aberdeen's Jonny Hayes as he sets up Niall McGinn with a classy assist (3m 50s). Highlights of Dundee Utd 2 Celtic 2 too (from 7m 35s).
