Wolves manager Stale Solbakken claimed pressure had got to his side as they blew an early lead in the 1-1 draw with Charlton at Molineux.

French midfielder Bakary Sako got the hosts off to a fine start by scoring his fifth goal for the club in the 12th minute but Lawrie Wilson earned Charlton a share of the spoils with a 58th-minute equaliser.

It was the fourth time this season - and the second successive game - that Wolves have gone ahead at home and failed to win and Solbakken said: "When Charlton scored we got stressed. Instead of trying to raise the tempo we looked stressed.

"In the first half I didn't think we played at our best either but we moved the ball much faster and created more chances.

"We probably should have taken advantage in the first half, but we got a very good goal from a good build up.

"I think we had good movement in that period and we looked for the second goal. We talked about it at half-time but it's one thing talking and another thing doing it.

"We played poorly, it was a very untidy second half from both sides. We don't want to play like this, we want to control the game much better but we were not able to do that."
