The Football Association have on Tuesday rejected Huddersfield's appeal against the red card given to Keith Southern during Saturday's Championship game at Charlton.
As a result, the midfielder will now serve a three match suspension - ruling him out of Tuesday night's game at Middlesbrough, Saturday's home derby against Leeds United and the home clash with Bolton Wanderers on 8 December.
Southern will be available for selection again when the Terriers travel to Hull on December 15 (12.30pm).
