Manager Stale Solbakken was full of praise for goalkeeper Carl Ikeme after his fine display helped Wolves to a 2-1 victory over Blackpool on Friday evening.
Ikeme produced a string of fine saves as goals in each half from Sylvan Ebanks-Blake helped Wolves claim their third win in four having previously gone nine games without a victory.
"He was brilliant with three or four good saves," said Solbakken. "The lads should give him a pat on the back.
"He's been solid the whole season. I think the one against one with Ince in the first half was very good.
"Also the two or three saves at the start of the second half were very good."
"I think Jermaine Pennant played his by far the best he's played in a Wolverhampton shirt in an away game."
Solbakken was also thrilled with Ebannks-Blake, adding: "He has worked hard. He came in training with a great attitude and also in games so I am pleased that he got his goals."
