Charlton's Chris Powell and Johnnie Jackson have been named League One Manager and Player of the Month for January.

Powell guided his side to four wins and a draw last month as the Addicks maintained their place at the summit of League One to remain on course for a long-awaited return to the Championship.

Midfielder Jackson, 29, proved to be a real matchwinner for the London outfit, with the only goal in both 1-0 victories over Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United.
