Charlton have recruited TV and radio presenter Dave Berry as their new Youth Services ambassador.
The avid Addicks fan, 33, will act as an advocate for Charlton Athletic Community Trust programme, using his expertise to assist the continued growth and development of local community programmes.
Berry made his name as a children's TV presenter on Nickelodeon before receiving a BAFTA nomination for his work on MTV programme TRL. Berry has recently hosted a number of popular TV shows including The iTunes Festival and The Hot Desk, and currently co-hosts Capital FM's Breakfast Show along side Lisa Snowdon.
Berry hopes his support of the Youth Services programme will convince the young people of the Royal Borough of Greenwich to become more active.
In a statement released by the League One club, he said: "Having been born in this part of London, I've spent a lot of time in and around the community.
"I'm a huge Charlton Athletic fan so when I was approached by the trust I was more than happy to offer my support. I'm determined to help the club make this worthy project a success."
