Cheltenham manager Mark Yates has praised goalkeeper Scott Brown for his attitude and performances this season.
Brown spent much of the first four months of the term playing second fiddle to on-loan Birmingham youngster Jack Butland, but has impressed between the sticks since coming back into the first team following Butland's return to his parent club before Christmas.
Cheltenham are currently working on a deal to bring Butland back to Whaddon Road before the January transfer window slams shut on Tuesday, but Yates stressed how pleased he has been with 26-year-old Brown.
"Whatever happens with loan goalkeepers, if we bring someone in, Scott has been superb since he's got back in the team," he said.
"Jack came, he performed great for us, gave him a start to his league career and as a result Scott took a back seat for a little while and I think he's come back and been even better."
