Chesterfield boss John Sheridan insists he wants the club to win their place back in League One at the first attempt.
The Spireites were relegated last weekend following the 3-2 defeat at Yeovil after just one season in the third tier.
But despite his clear disappointment, Sheridan remained upbeat and optimistic as he outlined his plans for next season.
"If I'm here, it's important that we bounce straight back and hit the ground running next season," he told the Derbyshire Times.
"Everybody is feeling flat but we will work hard and must make sure that we bounce straight back."
