Chesterfield manager John Sheridan has released trialists Keith Quinn and Manny Panther.
The pair of free agents featured in three of the Spireites' pre-season fixtures against Staveley Miners Welfare, Matlock Town and Telford United, but neither player will be offered an extended stay at the B2net Stadium.
Panther failed to make an impression at Grimsby last season and remains without a club for the new season following Sheridan's decision.
