TEAMtalk rates the Scotland players' performance as Craig Levein's side drew 0-0 with Serbia in their World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park.
Allan McGregor - Smart one-handed save from Aleksandar Kolarov early on and off his line well to prevent a last-minute winner. 7
Alan Hutton - A powerful first-half display but his lack of sharpness told later in his first competitive match of the season as Serbia got in behind him several times. 6
Paul Dixon - Excellent debut from the Huddersfield left-back. Made himself an attacking outlet, won three corners in the opening half hour with some dangerous crosses and didn't put a foot wrong at the back. 8
Christophe Berra - The new father delivered a composed and solid performance at centre-back. 7
Andy Webster - Caught out with a throughball in the last minute but would have been unlucky to be the fall guy after a solid display. 6
Gary Caldwell - Skipper won his 50th cap in central midfield. Never looked like dominating in possession but he protected the back four well and set up Scotland's best chance for Steven Naismith. 7
Charlie Adam - Imposed himself in central midfield, always looking to move the game forward. 7
James Morrison - Attacking midfielder twice set up Kenny Miller twice during an improved second-half show but too often his touches and passes lacked his usual quality. 5
Steven Naismith - Still working his way back to his peak following a cruciate injury and missed the best chance of the game when he stabbed the ball wide with only the goalkeeper to beat. 5
Robert Snodgrass - Scotland's brightest attacking force in the first half and forced a good save from the Serbian goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic, faded after the break and taken off in the 69th minute. 6
Kenny Miller - Lone striker put in his usual shift but failed to make the most of several half-chances. 5
SUBSTITUTES
James Forrest - Some good touches after his 69th-minute introduction without making a killer run. Good chance in injury-time and hit the target but the keeper made a good save. 5
Jamie Mackie - Injected some life into the Scotland attack after coming on for Morrison in the 81st minute but could not take a late through ball in his stride. 4
Jordan Rhodes - Only got a couple of touches after coming on for Miller in the 81st minute. Decent through ball for Mackie but his fellow sub could not collect. 4
