TEAMtalk rates England's players after Friday night's routine 5-0 win over San Marino at Wembley.

Joe Hart Nothing to do and was a virtual bystander - making a mockery of player ratings. 5

Kyle Walker Camped in San Marino half, but didn't get in as many dangerous balls as he would have liked. 5

Gary Cahill Glaring miskick inside the six-yard box with the goal at his mercy. 5

Phil Jagielka Nothing to deal with in defence and could have had a cup of tea and a chat with Joe Hart. 6

Leighton Baines He would have fancied himself to score, but didn't reall come close and had nothing to do defensively. 6

Theo WalcottClattered early on by the clumsy San Marino keeper and had to be withdrawn with little time to make an impact.

Michael Carrick Replaced on 66 minutes by Jonjo Shelvey and unlucky not to score with a rasping drive which cannoned back off the bar, but not incisive enough with his probing. 6

Tom Cleverley Had plenty of the ball, but like all the England players it was hard to assess his performance against a pub team. 6

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Netted his first senior England goal after an enterprising display. 7

Wayne Rooney (c) Made way for Andy Carroll in the second half after two simple finishes - one from the penalty spot. 7

Danny Welbeck Scored another superb back-heeled goal in what was a carbon copy of the effort he scored at the European Championships against Sweden. Will soon have the skill named after him. 7

Subs

Aaron Lennon Decent run-out against poor opposition, but would have liked hime to attack his full-back more often. 5

Jonjo Shelvey Looked assured in possession, but so would half of the TEAMtalk desk against the visiting minnows. 6

Andy Carroll No real chance to score after replacing Rooney midway through the second half.
