TEAMtalk rates England's players after their 4-2 friendly defeat to Sweden at the Friends Arena in Stockholm on Wednesday night.
Joe Hart: Not having the most assured of times. Penalty-box collision with Cahill was schoolboy stuff and was not his only basic mistake. 5
Glen Johnson: Solidifying his status as first-choice right-back. Defending better and attacked with menace. 7
Leighton Baines: It is testament to the Everton man that no-one has really noticed Ashley Cole being missing so often. 7
Steven Gerrard: Fitting that he created England's second goal with one of 'those' free-kicks on the occasion of his 100th appearance. 8
Gary Cahill: Not quite completed the transition from good Premier League player to international class defender. 6
Steven Caulker: Will be pleased with his performance. Great block to deny Ibrahimovic will be as satisfying as debut goal. 8.
Raheem Sterling: Took his time to get going but impressed when he did. Brave enough to keep wanting the ball. 7
Leon Osman: Tough for Osman to make an impact on this pitch but, at 31, he will not get many chances and improved after the break. 7
Danny Welbeck: Another goal for England's highest scorer of 2012. 8
Tom Cleverley: Should have converted an early chance and provided energy from midfield. 6
Ashley Young: Did little until finding Welbeck with a peach of a cross. 7
Substitutes:
Daniel Sturridge (for Young, 61): Not really the impact he would have been looking for. 6
Jack Wilshere (for Cleverley, 61): Picked up another booking and got a few whacks for his pains. But is back, that is the main thing. 7
Carl Jenkinson (for Johnson, 73): A bystander as Ibrahimovic ran riot. 6
Ryan Shawcross (for Caulker, 73): Received a very swift lesson from Ibrahimovic, who left him for dead to score Sweden's equaliser. 5
Tom Huddlestone (for Gerrard, 73): Failed to repel the Swedish tide. 6
Wilfried Zaha (for Sterling, 85): Not enough time to make an impression. 5
