Oliver Norwood jumped at the chance to join struggling Championship club Coventry on loan until the end of the season.
The Manchester United midfielder, who made a transfer deadline-day switch to the Sky Blues, has already shone on loan this season at Scunthorpe.
Norwood, 20, is eager to impress his new boss Andy Thorn and help the midlands outfit maintain their Championship status.
"This [move] came about at around five o'clock on deadline day and I jumped at the chance to come here," Norwood said.
"It is up to me now to take the chance and prove I can play at this level and see where it takes me.
"Hopefully I can repay the faith the manager has shown in bringing me here and for giving me the chance by helping the team stay in Championship."
