Steve Davis has set his Crewe squad a target of 76 points in their quest for an League Two play-off berth.

The Railwaymen secured a third successive win with Saturday's comprehensive 4-1 victory over Dagenham and have taken 20 points from Davis' 10 games at the helm since replacing Dario Gradi in November.

And the 46-year-old believes replicating that form until the end of the season will be enough to secure a place in the top seven.

"A realistic target would be two points a game," Davis told BBC Radio Stoke. "That would give us about 76 points and I think that would be enough to get into the play-offs.

"I think the players need to play with that little bit of pressure in the back of their minds.

"I can't have any complaints, over the last three games certainly, and since I started the job. I've no complaints about their commitment and their effort to turn things around."
