Matt Tootle is hoping Crewe can overcome in-form Barnet this Saturday as he prepares to make his 100th appearance for the club.
The versatile defender, 21, signed his first professional contract in 2009 after progressing through the Alex's academy ranks, and is now scheduled to bring up a century of first team outings against the Bees.
He told the Railwaymen's official website: "I've been counting the games off recently and it is a good game to reach the milestone because I have had a couple of bad games there, so it gives me a chance to go and put it right.
"It has been a great two years for me and seems to have gone really quick. I don't think I have missed more than four games in a row, so hopefully I can keep playing a lot more games.
"But Barnet will be a tough game, they are flying at the moment and right in form, but so are we. It is always good to be in a team that is doing well like we are at the moment.
"We have got ourselves going, and just need to take one game at a time, but hopefully we can get another good result on Saturday, which will make my 100th game even better."
