Academy manager Darren Wassall feels Mason Bennett and Will Hughes have done Derby proud with their performances for the England Under-17 side.
Bennett and Hughes represented the Young Lions at a recent tournament in the Algarve, Portugal.
Both players featured in all three of England's games against the hosts, Holland and France as John Peacock's side recorded two wins and a draw to triumph in the competition.
"It was a great experience for both Mason and Will to be involved in all the matches against some of the best talent in their age group," Wassall told the club's official website. "To have two players from our academy at such a high level of youth international football is fantastic for Derby.
"Having spoken to the England coaching staff I know they were impressed with the contribution of Mason and Will in both training and in the matches. An experience like this can only help their development.
"Their involvement also puts Derby on the map both nationally and internationally and it shows that we are producing players good enough to represent their country."
