Dundee manager Barry Smith says he is not overly bothered by the Scottish Premier League table but welcomed a hard-won point in the 1-1 draw at Motherwell.
The Dark Blues doubled their points tally in the space of two games as they built on last weekend's 1-0 victory over Hearts, and they moved four points behind St second-bottom St Mirren.
Dundee had previously been written off in some quarters but Smith said: "We'll concentrate on ourselves.
"We are only worried about picking up points and improving performances, and breeding confidence and getting closer to the next team, whoever that may be.
"There is a long way in this league to go and things will change weekly. We just have to concentrate on what we're doing."
