I hear he’s injured again after one game back. Seriously! What is he still doing at the club?

In order to develope and improve a player he needs to play. Not sure he will make the grade or have enough oppourtunities to improve due to his injuries.

He gets knee, ankle, muscle injuries – shin splints, blood clots and all the rest of it.

He’s giving Jack Wilshere a real run for his money.

@mufc – Sweet jesus mate, after 5 years of watching this gormless turd charging around the pitch like a demented bull in a china shop you’re still “not sure he will make the grade”?!.How much more evidence do you need mate, another 10 years of the same?.This chump should be either digging ditches for a living or shoveling shit down on the local farm, either that or he could just place a toilet seat around his neck and go travel the world competing in gurning competitions because he’s fit for bugger all else. What is an even bigger disgrace is that LvG and Wudwud decided he was worth giving a new 5 year,80K per week contract to only a few months ago, that decision alone should see both of them permanently interned in Broadmoor wearing a straitjacket, never mind sacked!.
I always knew he was doomed to abject failure the minute our resident ‘top talent spotter’ HappyChappy declared him to be ‘the best centre back we’ve got’.
    Bloody hilarious!.

Giving Jones a 5 year contract indicates to me that they dont know what they are doing. Rooneys extension is ridiculous too. Full speed ahead towards the iceberg, this ship is unsinkable.

This fella has injured himself countless times due to clumsiness. He wrong foots himself like a newly born griraffe.

I am sure there are countless “injuries” we have never heard of like stubbed toes while walking around the house or a bruised coxis from a fall in the shower.

I think ed should pay Sunderland £10 million to take Jones. Too many players in our squad ripping us off with their ridiculous wages.

I compare him with smalling and there is a big difference. Jones had the better potential as did rooney vs Ronaldo. But end of the day jones etc don’t want to fulfill their potential. I watched a interview between smalling and jones it was about who knows who better. All I can say is that jones doesn’t seem like the type of guy that even knows what tactic is. I don’t think he will improve much in the future. I hope I’m wrong.

    Yes A.Young too,happily.Another one stealing a living,nearly 30 yrs old,and on circa £115k p/w.
United linked with moves for Bale,Anderson,Abumeyang and Mane, the coming summer,so time for Young,Valencia,Fellaini,Carrick,Schweinsteiger,Rooney,to be told-thanks for your services.

He has been one of the few United best performers the last 18 months. He might be 30, he will still do a job. If Bale/Anderson/Abumeyang/Mane do arrive, who be the cover when they are injured.

At 30 Young will know his chances elsewhere will be limited so he may be happy being a squad utility player at Utd. These sorts of players can be invaluable at clubs IMO. They do a decent job when they come on and don’t moan about being on the bench.

If we bought Bale would you rather have a sulking Memphis on the bench or an eager Young? I know which I’d rather have.

One of the reasons we need a CB in January as a matter or urgency. Jones is not reliable and cant be called on because he is always injured. It affects tactics, strategy and balance.

Its’s critical we have a settled back 4
