Tottenham FanZoner Nik Wardle thinks there might be some truth in the rumours linking Andre Villas-Boas to Paris Saint-Germain.
There has been a lot of recent speculation that PSG are lining up AVB as their next boss, should, as expected, Carlo Ancelotti leave the French giants.
Of course, there has always lots of speculation surrounding Spurs, but given that AVB has never lasted more than a year at any club as manager, you do wonder if there is some smoke from this fire.
I had some early reservations about AVB and although I think he needs to get the team to play with a bit more pace, I'd be disappointed to see him go. As described a couple of blogs ago, the returns of Sandro and Younes Kaboul will strengthen Spurs - and that's before any signings are made.
We're being linked with a whole host of central midfielders and attacking players, and if we can add three-four quality progressive players to the squad, we should be able to push for the top four again.
AVB has given the side an ability to grind out results, which is very un-Tottenham like. With a bit more pace and technical ability added to the team, we should have just about everything in our armoury to give anyone a game. Although you do expect the teams who finished about us to be stronger than last season too.
AVB's reputation has been restored now and so it's no wonder he's being linked with other jobs. Hopefully he believes he owes it to Tottenham to stay and finish his latest 'project', no matter who comes knocking at his door.
