Newcastle FanZoner Darren Williams is still pinching himself after Pappis Cisse's fantastic goals against Chelsea.

Pappis lights up Stamford Bridge

Well my little FanZone fanatics, Dazza is back with another Toon blog as the mighty Black and White Army win yet another battle and the march towards European football continues in what has been an unexpected and unbelievable Premier League campaign.

This Sunday yours truly returns to the FanZone booth and never before have I been so looking forward to getting the microphone in hand to commentate on what could determine the destiny of Newcastle in Europe and also have a major say in who wins the Premier League title!

I write this blog as Newcastle United beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the league for the first time in 26 years. The reason we won was down to Pappis Cisse, our special new number 9 who scored two breathtaking goals. The first was outstanding and the second, a jaw dropping 25 yard banana shot that is arguably contender for goal of the century - never mind the season!

Alan Pardew applauded, Didier Drogba applauded, the Newcastle fans applauded, the Chelsea fans who didn't leave applauded and the whole footballing world applauded Cisse's goal which was quite simply sublime and will be remembered for many years to come.

After being battered for the first 10 minutes, I feared this could be another repeat of the mauling we got at Wigan, but we got back into the game, rode our luck and the two strikes from the Senegal International Cisse typified the heart and spirit this Toon team has right now. Solid performances all round, coupled with Davide Santon's goal line clearance, Chieck Tiote's warrior like performance before injury, were stand out moments in a fantastic night for the Geordie faithful and took our tally to 7 wins from the last 8 games.

Even though Spurs also won and are in the driving seat, we are still in a fantastic position to challenge them and Arsenal for a Champions League place in what has been a season nobody could have imagined. Let's be honest, the words European football and Newcastle were never in the same sentence when this season began, so to be where we are now is the stuff dreams are made of.

I'm a realist. There are still many major hurdles to overcome for Champions League football to become a reality. Next up is the small matter of Man City at home, who unless you're from the moon, you will know are pushing for the Premier League title against their United neighbours, in what has been one of the most exciting run ins for years. Man City is then followed by Everton away, which is never an easy game and with the fourth Champions League qualifying spot being in danger of being removed anyway should our last victims Chelsea win in Munich and steal the last place as holders.

However, even though we have these hurdles, Newcastle United have exceeded all our expectations and do not bet against them achieving the impossible by bringing Champions League football to Tyneside. Our game against Man City at SJP on Sunday has all the makings of being a classic and I'm predicting the Toon fans will once again be our 12th man and see us record my prediction of a 2-1 home win.

So, my bag is already packed for Sunday. My Newcastle shirt, Strawberry Syrup and Monty the Magpie Mascot will all return to your screens in what could be one of the greatest FanZone games for a long time with so much at stake. Tune in and watch the drama and banter unfold on Sky Sports FanZone... the home of REAL fans!
