Domenech: To stay on
The French Football Federation has confirmed Raymond Domenech will continue as manager of the national team.
Domenech had been under severe pressure following his side's poor showing at Euro 2008 and unconvincing start to their World Cup qualifying campaign.
However, the side demonstrated fighting spirit to come back from two goals down and draw against Romania at the weekend before defeating Tunisia 3-1 in an international friendly on Tuesday night.
FFF president Jean-Pierre Escalettes confirmed the decision at the federation's headquarters in central Paris on Wednesday, with Domenech's mandate now being to qualify for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
