Folan and Hoye out of Foxes clash

Middlesbrough will be without Caleb Folan and Justin Hoyte for Tuesday night's Championship clash with Leicester at the Riverside Stadium.

Hoyte: Damaged ankle against Coventry

Folan suffered a torn hamstring in training on Sunday and despite not knowing how serious the injury is, the on-loan Hull striker will definitely sit out the clash.

Gareth Southgate said: "We don't know the length of time he'll be out for yet but it looks like quite a serious one."

Boro will also be without Hoyte, who suffered ankle ligament damage in the 2-2 draw with Coventry at the weekend, while Didier Digard is expected to remain sidelined as he continues to build up his fitness after a groin injury.

Southgate will also be without defenders Andrew Taylor and Chris Riggott (both ankle), who remain sidelined alongside long-term absentee Matthew Bates (knee ligaments).

Kick-off is at 8pm.
