The Robins bounced back following their 3-1 defeat to 10-man Leeds to draw 1-1 draw at Edgeley Park last weekend.

Blair Sturrock has joined Bournemouth on a month-long loan deal in the hope of gaining match fitness, while injury-troubled striker Barry Corr damaged his thigh when warming-up for the reserves in midweek.

Experienced left-back Jamie Vincent needs an operation on a persistent knee problem and is expected to be ruled out until November.

Jerel Ifil, Mark Marshall, Chris Allen, Lee Peacock and Mark Scott are all pushing to be involved.

Midfielder Christian Roberts retired from professional football on Thursday but will be at the County Ground to bid farewell to everyone at the club.
