Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam will return to action ahead of schedule after being passed fit for Wednesday's SPL clash against Motherwell.

Adam had initially been ruled out for the season with a knee injury but is back in the squad alongside Steven Whittaker, who served a one-match ban against Hibernian on Sunday.
Lee McCulloch (foot) and DaMarcus Beasley (knee) are also close to returning and could be involved but Allan McGregor, Chris Burke and Steven Naismith remain on the injury list.
