Ryan Valentine was the guilty party in Wednesday's League Two clash at the Racecourse Ground, the former Darlington man seeing his first-half effort easily saved by Frank Fielding after Matt Done was brought down by Russell Martin.

Wrexham remain 23rd in the division following the result, but are just one point from safety with a game in hand.

Wycombe, meanwhile, will have been disappointed to come away from the game without a victory, having drawn their previous two games, and stay ninth.
