The Dragons' calamitous season continued when a weak Robert Grant header deflected off Shaun Pejic's back and past young keeper Michael Jones after just seven minutes of Saturday's League Two clash at the Racecourse Ground.

And it got worse after 28 minutes when Steve Evans slipped over and Jones could only parry Shaun Whalley's cross to present the on-rushing Peter Cavanagh with an easy tap-in.

After that the home side could not rally, despite Matty Done hitting wide before the interval.

But the home side's misery was complete when Cavanagh's through ball found the lively Whalley, who made no mistake from the right-hand side of the box on 72 minutes.

After that the game went dead, however, when home substitute Wes Baynes was felled by Phil Edwards, captain Neil Roberts stepped up to strike home the penalty in added time to pull one back.

Today's other Coca-Cola Football League Two matches.
