Tottenham skipper Ledley King has urged his team-mates not to dwell on two straight defeats ahead of their tough weekend trip to Chelsea.
King has admitted that the opening two losses, at Middlesbrough and at home to Sunderland, have not been ideal but that there will be plenty of hard work on the training ground in preparing for the game at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
He told the club's official website: "It's been a disappointing start but now we have to pick ourselves up because the next game is Chelsea, so we can't feel sorry for ourselves - we have to continue to work hard.
"Everyone knows Chelsea is a tough game and we've had many tough games against them, especially over the last couple of years.
"They've got off to a great start, but we've got to go there and give a good account of ourselves, so this week will be about lifting the spirits and getting the buzz back around the dressing room."

"Well spennatova (Aston Villa fan)another fortunate thing about the transfer window closing is listening to anymore drivel on your Gareth Barry saga, which I think dominated as much this summer as the Ronaldo saga. Think on."

"Two games down 36 to go, its a long season people remember this! So were 17th?! Does everyone on here expect Man Utd to stay 5th come the end of the season, Arsenal 14th or Liverpool 2nd? Course not all will Improve, well except Liverpool who will of course end up 4th again. "
spennatova (Aston Villa fan)
"One of the best things about Spurs losing their first two games is the thought of all those fans, who in pre-season, went on and on about how Spurs were going to be the big thing this season. Whilst we all laughed at this, it didn't deter the volumes of drivel we've all had to put up with all summer. Keep it up!"
