Veteran defender Matt Lockwood believes Dagenham & Redbridge have what it takes to win promotion from League Two this season.
The 33-year-old made his debut last Saturday after signing on loan from Colchester and after winning promotion with Leyton Orient in 2006, he is confident that John Still's side can make the step up.
He told the Epping Forest Guardian: "I've only just come to the club and the lads are absolutely flying, they're third in the league and for me it was a pleasure to come to a team that are winning.
"Winning becomes a habit and the lads showed in the second half on Saturday, after the gee-up at half-time, that we can prove we're good enough to get out of this division."
