Harry: We may miss out on Kaboul

Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is worried that Tottenham defender Younes Kaboul will snub a move to Fratton Park to join Aston Villa.

Kaboul: Expected to leave Spurs

Kaboul is expected to leave White Hart Lane during the summer after struggling to establish himself at Tottenham last season.

His agent has ruled out a move to Sunderland, and Pompey boss Redknapp has expressed an interest, though he insisted the price had to be right.

And he now fears he won't get his man.

Redknapp said: "Kaboul wants to come here but I heard he is going to Villa. I don't think there is anything he (chief executive Peter Storrie) can do about it."

He added: "If Villa are in for him he may have to go there.

"We made an offer with what we thought was a fair valuation."

"so redknapp thinks kaboul is going to villa, well neither pompey or villa have had a bid accepted by spurs so how can he say that?? redknapp also says he has had talks with kaboul, surely that is an illegal approach?? we are the only club to have had a bid accepted and have agreed terms with him but you dont see keane talking to the media about it. redknapp is just up to his old tricks again!"
