"Bale is a talented player, he has pace strength and a great left foot but let's face it he has had back luck with injuries he is still a teenager and he's Welsh. None of these things make for smooth integration into a hugely demanding club but the lad will get there and I do not believce it is beyond him to be a world class player."

"it will prove a stupid decision to sell him, he may have been here for 2 years but let's not forget how young he is and how many manager he had to work with and all those time he was force out by injury. this guy is low in confidence now but will prove to be a very good player when he eventually fulfill his pontential, harry should start him on left mid as he has best left foot and than he can start playing left back again once he gets his match fitness and confindence back. we should protect just like what arsenal is doing for walcott, man utd to ronaldo."

"Slow and overweight....12mil will do nicely...the lad has lost all his confidence and needs a change of environment to rediscover himself...doubt he can do it at spurs...just too unmotivated and demoralised at WHL...good luck Bale, might turn out to be a good player eventually....but spurs cannot wait 4-5 years for him...let him go but only at the right price. he has had more chances than Bostock, GDS, Taraabt and has proved to be a flop every game...just can't do his job at spurs."
