Blackburn striker Jason Roberts believes he and team-mate Roque Santa Cruz are beginning to forge a productive partnership at Ewood Park.
The duo were both on target as Rovers romped to a 3-1 home win over Lancashire rivals Wigan at the weekend.
For Roberts it was his fourth goal of the season while Santa Cruz took his tally to 18 with a brace.
Roberts said: "I'm starting to get a bit of an understanding now with Roque.
"It takes time, and hopefully long may it continue and we'll continue to score goals and the team will continue to win."
Reflecting on the win, Roberts added: "It was a must-win game for us and to come out and perform like that given the circumstances I thought was outstanding. It is up to us now to take that into the next game."
