Goalkeeper Peter Enckelman is among a trio of out-of-contract players to have been released by Blackburn boss Mark Hughes.
Defenders Stephane Henchoz and Bruno Berner have also been told by Hughes that they can leave Ewood Park.
Enckelman has been on-loan at Cardiff and played in Saturday's FA Cup final at Wembley, when he was at fault for Portsmouth's winner.
The Finn had been at the Championship side since January in a bid to play regular first-team football after making only two Premier League appearances for Rovers.
Henchoz failed to make a single appearance this season in his second spell at Ewood Park while former Swiss international Berner has played only four times this term.
