Jussi targeting winning return

Bolton goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen has targeted three points when his side return to action after the international break on September 13.

Jaaskelainen: Wants three points

Jaaskelainen will return from international duty with Finland focused on victory when Wanderers face Fulham at Craven Cottage.

An opening-day win against Stoke has been followed by a defeat to Newcastle, a Carling Cup exit at the hands of League One Northampton and a goalless draw with West Brom.

Jaaskelainen has also set his sights on taking a minimum of 11 points from the first 10 Premier League fixtures, even though that includes trips to face Manchester United and Tottenham and a home match against Arsenal.

But Jaaskelainen hopes to do better and told the Bolton News: "The first 10 games are very important for us, and I'd hope we can get 15 or 16 points from them. That would be a good start to the season for me.

"Last season went badly because we were bad at the start - we can't let that happen again so we need to start winning games."
