Gary Megson thinks Gary Cahill will shrug off a poor display for Bolton against Aston Villa, should he win his first England cap on Saturday.
Cahill could come into contention in the friendly against Brazil in Qatar as Rio Ferdinand is injured, a week after being part of the Bolton side that were beaten 5-1 by Villa at the weekend.
Megson said: "It was not a good game for Gary against Aston Villa but he was not alone.
"For the second goal, Gary needed to ship it out for a corner and defend it from there, but it is gone now. The lad is a good player and you don't get where he's got to playing like that."
