Bolton manager Gary Megson has told his players to be more vocal on the pitch, and has bemoaned a lack of leaders at the club.
He claims the Wanderers players are too quiet and should be a bit more vocal in their work with a vital match against Wolves to come on Saturday.
Megson said: "There are not too many old-fashioned type players who, regardless of how they are playing, will still keep cajoling and driving players on.
"It's is a pity because they are worth their weight in gold. It's one of those things you can ask your players to do but you can't teach it.
"Those kind of players are few and far between. Most will be the international players and the captains of the team."

"The club sold its biggest voice in the dressing room & the pitch in Kevin Nolan,he is doing fine now at the barcodes. On this occasion it was the the 2 stooges greed but megson should have put his foot down & said no to the sale. Then again this why he is the manager."

"Every time he opens it he digs his hole even deeper - you couldn't make this up could you. So basically, two fingers up to you Big Kev as Captain! And who was it exactly who got rid of the likes of Diouff, Campo, Stelios and to some extent Nolan - these were the players on the pitch with some presence that others looked up to lead and set example. I include Diouff not for the wrong reasons but for many of the good reasons he demonstrated at Bolton - no lost cause, battling away and wearing his heart on his sleeve. And was leadership not one of the qualities on the job spec for those recruited so far, not really I suppose as many are at best average who couldn't get in their original clubs first team. "

"So it's not really your fault after all then, is it Gaz ? Thanks for clearing that one up for us all. I thought that motivation was supposed to start with the Manager"
